The Felipe Lopez Foundation is committed to maintaining a positive presence in the State of New York and Dominican Republic communities. The foundation is based on a mission to help participants achieve their academic, personal and civic goals.

• The Felipe Lopez Foundation "Assist" program is an experience which includes reading, writing, study skills enrichment and college preparatory instruction to college scholarships.
  
  
• The Felipe Lopez Foundation "Center Point" program emphasizes sportsmanship, career development and civic responsibility. We encourage good sportsmanship in athletic participation, healthy lifestyle choices in personal lives and civic responsibility. The goal of this program is to establish educational centers in the Dominican Republic.

The Foundation realizes that not every aspiring athlete will be fortunate enough to have a career as a professional athlete. As a result we stress to all participants that the basis of any successful career begins with a quality education. We encourage good sportsmanship in athletic participation, healthy lifestyle choices in personal lives and civic responsibility.
